Born in Montpellier in 1950, he began painting in 1973 after studying economics.
He lived in Paris for twenty years before returning home in 1999. ‘His home was Palavas-les-Flots, where he set up his studio.
In 1971, his first watercolours. In 1974, he began working in oil on canvas. In 1975, he held his first exhibition in Bougival, where he won a prize.
Influenced by the English School and the watercolour techniques of Turner, Bonington, Cox and Cozens, he imagines the effects in a mist that is both mysterious and transparent.
Recognised in the Parisian salons, he obtained the recognition of his peers;
