This cherry tree bent as it grew, giving it its distinctive shape. Its orange hues highlight its connection with its graft, the cherry tree, with which it grew stronger to live for several hundred years on the heights of Annonay in Ardèche.
Harvested according to the lunar calendar, stripped of its bark and soaked in a stream for several weeks, then slowly dried for over forty years.
The work took shape through the history and life of the tree.
This coffee table or bench is exceptional and unique, stamped and split by time, it is enhanced by the gold of the brass and the continuity of the grain.
