Using a steel structure that has been cut, bent and welded, artist Robert JAYET will bring to life these magnificent figures from Africa and Australia.
Very spindly, probably inspired by Giacometti, these figures soar and move, they are the guardians of their entity.
The sculpture entitled ‘ELIE’ represents a Masai warrior whose head, hands and feet are made of bronze, with a patina of ebony-black steel on his body. He is holding a kind of spear, the emblem of his tribe. It rests on a white marble base.
It is unique and signed by the artist, dated 2020. Height 100 cm
