Using a steel structure that has been cut, bent and welded, artist Robert JAYET will bring to life these magnificent figures from Africa and Australia.
Very spindly, probably inspired by Giacometti, these figures soar and move, they are the guardians of their entity.
The sculpture entitled ‘BERENICE’ depicts a woman whose head is sculpted in soapstone, her hands and feet are in bronze, with a black ebony patina on the body, and she rests on a white marble base.
It is unique and signed by the artist, dated 2020. Height 118 cm
