Xavier FROISSART has created a collection of crystal cars produced by DAUM, tracing the different periods in the history of the motor car. The stylised engine and the vehicle’s interior can be seen through the crystal.
Xavier FROISSART is the inventor of this concept, which he developed at DAUM between 1983 and 1994.

Xavier FROISSART is a French painter and visual artist who trained at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris (ENSAD) and was awarded the Gold Medal by the Société des Artistes Français.
His artistic inspiration has led him to develop his work by exploring themes and series centred on two main areas: painting and the creation of objects in crystal, and later in glazed terracotta. His works feature in both private and public collections.
